Floating (≤DN150/low pressure) uses medium pressure for sealing. Trunnion (>DN150/high pressure) has independent bearing structure, ideal for large diameter high pressure pipelines.

Can ball valves regulate flow?

Standard ball valves are for on/off only. V-type ball valves offer near-linear flow characteristics. For precise throttling, use globe or control valves.
