Function

The Solder Ball Valve operates by using a rotating ball inside the valve body. The ball has a hole or port through its center, which aligns with the valve body to allow flow. When the ball is rotated by an actuator or manual handle, the port is either aligned with the pipeline to allow fluid to pass through, or rotated to block the flow completely.

The soldered connection ensures a leak-proof bond between the valve and the piping, making it ideal for copper and brass piping systems used in plumbing, heating, and other fluid systems. The full-bore design minimizes flow resistance, making it ideal for applications requiring high flow capacity and low pressure drop.

The valve’s tight sealing system ensures that the valve can maintain a closed position without leakage, even under fluctuating pressure conditions. This makes it ideal for on/off control in water, gas, and steam systems.

Application

  • Water Systems – Flow regulation in residential and industrial water distribution systems

  • Gas Systems – Isolation and control of natural gas, propane, and other gas systems

  • Steam Systems – Flow control in steam pipelines and boiler systems

  • Plumbing – Ideal for use in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems

  • HVAC Systems – Isolation and control of hot and cold water flow in heating and cooling systems

  • Chemical Processing – Flow control of chemicals and solvents in manufacturing and processing systems

  • Food & Beverage – Flow regulation in food and beverage production lines
