Floating Ball Valve for Reliable Industrial Pipeline Isolation

Floating ball valves are commonly installed in medium-pressure pipeline systems where dependable shut-off is more important than frequent throttling operation. In this design the ball is supported by seat rings rather than fixed supports, allowing pipeline pressure to assist the sealing process when the valve closes. Floating ball valves are typically used in sizes from 1/2″ to 12″ with pressure ratings up to Class 600.
