API 6D Ball Valve

API 6D ball valve for oil and gas pipeline service

API 6D Ball Valve is designed for oil, gas, natural gas transmission, pipeline station and process pipeline isolation service where project standards require API 6D design, testing and documentation. The valve can be supplied with trunnion-mounted or floating-ball construction, full-bore or reduced-bore flow passage, flanged or butt-weld ends, DBB/DIB options, seat injection, cavity pressure relief and actuator configurations according to the approved project specification.

Floating Ball Valve for Reliable Industrial Pipeline Isolation

Floating ball valves are commonly installed in medium-pressure pipeline systems where dependable shut-off is more important than frequent throttling operation. In this design the ball is supported by seat rings rather than fixed supports, allowing pipeline pressure to assist the sealing process when the valve closes. Floating ball valves are typically used in sizes from 1/2″ to 12″ with pressure ratings up to Class 600. Because of their relatively simple internal structure, they are widely applied in oil transfer lines, chemical processing systems, industrial water networks, and general plant utilities.

Industrial Isolation Butterfly Valve for Reliable Pipeline Shut-Off

Isolation butterfly valves are commonly used to shut off fluid flow in large pipeline systems where space and equipment weight need to be controlled. Because the valve uses a rotating disc instead of a linear gate mechanism, the overall structure remains compact even in large diameters. In many water treatment plants, cooling systems, and industrial utility networks, butterfly valves are installed mainly as sectional isolation devices rather than flow control valves. Typical pipeline sizes range from DN50 to DN2000 depending on system requirements.

Double Block and Bleed Valve

Double Block and Bleed Valve, also called DBB Ball Valve, is designed for pipeline isolation where two sealing points and a bleed or vent connection between them are required. It is commonly used in oil, gas, chemical, metering, tank farm and pipeline station service. Floating-ball, trunnion-mounted, single-body or twin-ball configurations can be selected according to pressure class, valve size, DBB/DIB requirement, medium and approved project specification.
