Function
Our Bronze Cap Gate Valve is designed to start or stop the flow of water, oil, or steam in low-to-medium pressure applications. By rotating the handwheel, the solid wedge disc lifts vertically to allow free flow or lowers tightly onto the seat to stop flow completely.
Thanks to its all-metal construction, it’s resistant to corrosion and mechanical wear, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor installations in harsh or humid environments. The non-rising stem ensures the valve is suitable for tight spaces, while the threaded end connections allow fast, secure integration with copper or brass piping systems.
This valve features a screwed bonnet (cap) design and a non-rising stem, offering space efficiency and easy inline maintenance. It is typically used in smaller pipe sizes (DN15–DN100), with threaded ends that allow quick installation into brass or copper systems. The solid wedge gate ensures tight shutoff, while the bronze seat and body provide long service life without corrosion or dezincification.
